Hope everybody has been having a nice weekend.

Tonight's going to be a quick one - just a little FYI on what has been going on and what you can be looking forward to.

    Enjoy!

    • I have begun freelancing for The Southington Citizen again. It's a small-town paper, full of great talent and an awesome editorial staff. I'll put up one of my articles I wrote for Memorial Day shortly, and perhaps one of the stories I covered for the eight anniversary of 9/11, under my Journalism header of the site. So keep your eyes peeled!
    • This is my first semester teaching at Tunxis Community College and loving it. I don't know how I lucked out, but I have every teacher's dream class. The majority of my students are highly-motivated to do well in the course (Intro to College Reading and Writing), which in turn motivates me. It's nice knowing people are actually happy about coming to class.
    • After close to 3 years, I have a literary agent looking at my fiction!!! This is not to say that she is my agent or we are under any obligation to each other, but the fact she was kind enough (and interested enough) to take a peek at my work has been a big boost to my writer's self-esteem. Will keep you posted as to how this progresses.

Well, that is it for now. Told you this was going to be short. Have a good one!

What wonderful news, Corina! You have some truly amazing things going on in your life! Good luck with the new school year, your freelance job, and with possible publishing! :) You deserve the best.

That is amazing! How fun is it to teach?! You will have to let us all know how the agent thing spans out! What a crazy great opportunity!
